其實這是某個益智節目的題目，受測者是一位教育部的官員，拼了命要宣傳新流感的「防疫觀念」。

題目大概是這樣說的：

Look __ the  mirror to see your dirty face.

中文翻譯可以說為：看看鏡子（中）你骯髒的臉龐。

一般人的習慣，Look 後面大概準備接 at，這位官員也不例外。但這一題考的其實是介係詞本身的概念。

Look on the mirror 指的是「看看鏡子的表面（鏡面）」，例如：
Look on the mirror! There is a firefly there.

Look at the mirror 指的是「看著（注意）那片鏡子」，舉例來說：
Look at this round mirror!I can use it to make up my face.

Look in the mirror 指的是「看看鏡子（裡面）的影像」，因此以這個題目來說，「看看鏡中骯髒的臉龐」，就必須選擇 in 。

in / on / at 這三個介係詞的確是相當耐人尋味的。不給大家太多壓力，這三個介係詞的比較，另外開一篇獨立文章來寫。
